Meet Types on the Adirondack Meet Schedule

AD Sanctioned Meets

These meets are Sanctioned by Adirondack Swimming and all times for all swimmers are loaded to SWIMS
Sanctioned Meets are run using USA Swimming Technical and Administrative Rules ... All participants MUST be USA Swimming Registered
*AD Sanctioned Meets are the ONLY meets used to meet the minimum participation requirements for AD Championship Meets

AD Approved Meets

These meets are all Adirondack Swimming approved for times to be loaded to SWIMS for those registered swimmers
Approved Meets are run using USA Swimming Technical Rules ... All participants do not have to be USA Swimming Registered

AD Observed Meets

These meets are all Adirondack Swimming approved for times to be loaded to SWIMS for those registered swimmers
Observed Meets are run using another organizations rules, such as High School or College
All participants do not have to be USA Swimming Registered ... Swimmers may be representing a team which is not their USA-S team

AD Pending Meets

Pending AD Meets which have Bids Received
No Sanction or Approval Request or Other Required Information has been received
No information can be posted until a Sanction or Approval is issued

Out of District Meets

These meets are Sanctioned  by their corresponding LSC's

*AD SC Championships and SC Qualifier Meets have specific participation requirements
Participation requirements MUST have been met prior to the Meet Entry Deadlines for the meets
SC Championships requires that at least Two (2) AD Sanctioned Meets must have been swum to participate
SC Qualifiers requires that at least One (1) AD Sanctioned Meet must have been swum to participate
Athletes must also meet the cutoff time requirements
times can be achieved in ANY SWIMS Recorded Meet (Sanctioned, Approved or Observed)
within the Qualifying Period listed on the Meet Announcements
